First day Salvador, Brazil (Part II)
Well never mind turns out my camera miraculously turned on, connected to the computer, and let me upload the photos before going crazy and crashing again..so here are the pictures from the first day in Salvador! (Part I)
Unfortunately, I’m not able to post any pictures of Salvador, Brazil. The first day here maybe because of over-usage, humidity, or whatever my digital camera had finally just had enough. Luckily, it’s the end of the voyage and even luckier Dan has a spare digital camera so he’s loaned me it this week, while he’s gone in the Amazon. I tried moving my memory card over to his camera, but I still don’t have his connector cord…so for another few days the pictures are locked into my camera. If I can find the cord in his room I’ll definitely upload the photos because this city is gorgeous! It’d be a real shame not to.
Sarah asked for pics of my room so I thought I’d post them…Our room is never dirty but it’s usually never as clean as it is in these pics, lol (usually there’s knick knacks and souvenirs all around the room)
Third day in Ghana, visiting the Shai Hills Game Reserve
Third day in Ghana, visited the Torgome Village participating in a naming ceremony where we were each given traditional African names
Second day in Ghana, attended a drumming and dance workshop at a Ghanaian Dance Institute
Easter Day in South Africa…petting cheetahs and visiting neighboring winery
